Hi Emma! Thanks a lot for sharing your ideas (in English!). So enlightening! It made me think that sometimes we use the word "values" referring to 2 different truths. On one hand, the word could be referring to "principles" or guidelines for behavior. On the other hand, it could be connecting with "habits" or with the skillset that allows me to do something in a specific way.

For instance: If I say that generosity is my core "value". I could be saying that "I want to be" someone who takes time with other people and gives money to does who need it.... Or, I could be saying that "I am" someone who donates or cares for the others in my daily live.

On the first case, the value works as a principle, and is the result of a personal decision (it's in my mind). On the second case, the value is the result of a constant repetition of good actions (it's in my live). Principle and value only match in the case of 100% coherent live...
